About Ken Jones Insurance
Ken Jones Insurance Agency can trace its roots back to the 1930’s when it was owned by the Silver Family. The agency was sold to Marie D. Burton in the 1950’s and then Ken Jones in 1963. In 1995, Ken Jones sold KJI to his son, David and his partner Shirley Morris but remained active in the business until 1998. From its inception, the agency has been located in Delta, PA and for the past 70 years has been located on Main Street.
In 2017, BB&K of Pennsylvania, LLC. purchased Ken Jones Insurance Agency, and brought their experience and resources to this Delta mainstay. Today, David Jones and his staff continue to provide the personal, face-to-face approach of dealing with people that has marked its beginnings.

Martin E. Bramhall – President / Partner
Marty is the President and CEO of BB&K of Maryland, Inc. t/a WSMT Insurance and BB&K of Pennsylvania LLC t/a Ken Jones Insurance Agency. He attended Goldey-Beacom college in 1984. He began his insurance career in 1984 at his father’s agency as an advisor. In 2003 he purchased the agency from his father. Recently he sold his first agency and currently oversees all aspects of both agencies as well as maintains Carrier Relationships and acts as Sales Manager.
He has served on several Agency Councils, including Main Street America, Selective, Ohio Casualty and Harford Mutual. He also served as a Board member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Delaware from 2003-2007. Marty is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Cancer Support Community of Delaware. In his spare time, Marty enjoys golfing, fishing and traveling.
Denise Kozel CIC, CPCU – Vice President / Partner
Denise Kozel began her career in the insurance industry in 1987. During her career she has held positions on both the Agency and Company side. In 2003 becoming an agency principal. She is currently the Vice President of BB&K of Maryland, Inc. t/a WSMT Insurance and BB&K of Pennsylvania LLC t/a Ken Jones Insurance Agency and is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Agency.
She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Towson University in Towson, Maryland in 1987. She went on to receive the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) Designation in 2002. In 2011 earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) Designation. She enjoys playing golf and spending time with her family.
David Jones, Senior Insurance Advisor
After working at an iron foundry, David Jones decided to attend college. A 1978 Cum Laude graduate of Shepherd College, he began working for his family’s insurance agency selling personal lines coverage. In 1995, David and Shirley Morris purchased the Ken Jones Insurance Agency, selling the agency to BB&K of Pennsylvania in 2017.
He has served as President of the Grace Church Foundation, Vice President of North Harford Parks and Rec., and is a past member of the Mutual Benefit Insurance Co.’s Agent’s Council. David enjoys genealogy and many outdoor activities including tennis, golf and wrestling with his grandchildren.
April Dandy, Personal Lines Insurance Advisor
April Dandy joined Ken Jones Insurance Agency as a receptionist in August of 1996. She has served many roles in the agency, earning her Propety & Casualty license in 2005. She holds her CISR designation which she earned in 2012. April lives in Fawn Grove PA with her husband Troy, daughter Kellie, son Ryan and three very spoiled dogs. In her spare time, she likes reading and spending time with her family.
Lisa Redding, Commercial Account Manager
Lisa Redding joined Ken Jones Insurance Agency in 1999 to answer phone calls and to do light filing. After earning her Property & Casualty license she moved to the role as Account Manager. She currently services all of the Agency’s Farm Policies as well as Commercial Accounts. In her current roles, she is responsible for servicing and maintaining client relationships.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
Leanne Miller, Personal Lines Account Manager
Leanne joined Ken Jones Insurance Agency in 2014. She obtained her Property & Casualty License during that time. She is a Personal Lines Account Manager. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters and friends.
Robin Groves, Personal Lines Account Manager
Robin Groves joined the Ken Jones Agency in 2015 as a Personal Lines Account Manager. She obtained her Property & Casualty and Life & Health license over 25 years ago. In her free time, Robin enjoys motorcycle rides and going to the shore.
Michelle Jones, Claims Coordinator
“Shelly” joined the Ken Jones Insurance Agency in 2013 after teaching in the Harford County Public School System for 33 years. She earned her B.S. from Towson University and Masters of Education Degree from Loyola University. She currently serves as claims coordinator and office bookkeeper. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her family — especially her grandchildren.
Susan Biondi, Administrative Assistant
Susan Biondi joined the Ken Jones Insurance Agency in 2001. She currently holds the CISR Designation and Property & Casualty, and Life & Health licenses. As Administrative Assistant her role is varied with an emphasis on personal lines client retention and customer service. She earned an AA degree in Liberal Arts. Prior to joining the agency she worked in the banking industry for 17 years as well as her father’s insurance office.
She is a proud grandmother of five and is active as a Certified Lay Servant with the United Methodist Church and is very active in her parish with an emphasis on alter and worship design, and music.
